Collaboration and community building is at the heart of the Academic and Special Libraries group. The committee organises a number of networking events throughout the year.

Annual Conference

The main event in our calendar is the annual A&SL Conference where we gather together with library professionals across the library and information fields to provide a shared platform for learning, networking, and innovation.

AGM events

The annual AGM is an opportunity to learn about the work of the Committee over the last twelve months, and to hear reports from each of the Committee Officers. These events also serve as an important, and enjoyable networking occasion to set us up for the coming year.

Networking events and collaborations

We also run regular networking events for our members and partner with our colleagues across other LAI groups to share professional practice and knowledge share on current topics and challenges within the profession.
