Fair for All: Creating Equitable and Universal Access to Information

The Academic and Special Libraries group of the LAI are pleased to invite submissions for the ASL2024 conference, Fair for All: Creating Equitable and Universal Access to Information.

Numerous obstacles continue to challenge people in their quest for meaningful information. Users are hindered by paywalls, censorship, accessibility issues, lack of representation and technological inequalities, and are frustrated by information overload and fake news.

How do we, as librarians and information professionals, support all our users in overcoming these barriers and gaining access to the information they need?
